Mandate of the Department Relief
and Rehabilitation Department
deals with the following:
(i) sanction of ex-gratia
grant, Financial Assistance
to the victims of extremist
violence/Group Clashes/Motor
Accident etc. on receipt of
detailed proposals from concerned
Deputy Commissioner.
ii) Relief measures like
R.G. & G.R. are extended
to the victims of ethnic violence
affected people in the state
from time to time on receipt
of report from concerned Deputy
Commissioner.
