1. Particulars of its organisation, function and duties:

1. Name of the organisation S & T Department, Government of Assam.
2. Function and duties of the Department:

• upgradation of the present system of Guwahati Planetarium including Sky show,
• to implementvarious schemes/programmethroughits subordinateorganisations institutions(ASTEC,AEDA,CPP,IASST)" .
• to run the administration of the S & T Department.

1. The Assam Rules of Executive Bussines, 1968.
2. The Manual of Office Procedure-Sectt.
3. The Assam Services (Discipline and Appeals) Rules, 1964.

5. The Fundamental Rules and Subsidiary Rules (FRs & SRs).
6. Assam Civil Service (Conduct) Rules, 1965.
7. The Assam Revised Leave Rules, 1934 as amended.
